It’s nice to see businesses expanding to a second location. The Chamber wishes them much success and was happy to be part of the festivities.
Leadership Class Recruitment
August 8th, 2009 by Richard Stahl No comments »Debbie Gregory announced this week that Leadership Huntingdon County has twelve applicants for this year’s class, assuring that the class will be held. The LHC Steering Committee will accept applications through Labor Day but noted that all scholarships are taken.
Leadership Huntingdon County has graduated five classes and over 75 individuals since 2004. The program seeks to foster good things in our community by developing leaders. Specifically, each class participates in nine three and a half hour classes between September and May plus a Saturday retreat and two field Trips.
E-Commerce Workshop

The workshop will be held at the Huntingdon Country Club at 8:00 AM on July 30, 2009.
Presenters include Marlene Burkart and Bill Thomas of Juniata College, Rob Schrack, Board of Realtors, Mike Davignon, Davignon-Reeves Coins and Currancy; and Matt Price, Huntingdon County Visitors Bureau. The workshop includes breakfast. Register by calling the Chamber at 643-1110.

With a small staff, the success of the Chamber depends on active committees, according to Chamber Executive Director, Yvonne Martin.
